Spire Government is seeking a senior front-end engineer to build and operate production weather applications incorporating asset tracking, interactive maps, and time-series dashboards. You will collaborate with product, design, science, and API teams to deliver data-rich user experiences.

Candidates should have 5+ years of production software experience and strong skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.

Qualifications

Experience with workflow-rich applications, AI-assisted coding, production operations and testing.
Geospatial or weather experience is desirable.

Build and operate production weather applications featuring asset tracking, interactive maps, time-series views, dashboards, alert configuration, and operational workflows. Use AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining quality, testing critical workflows, and collaborating across product, design, science, and API teams.

Requirements:

Candidates should have at least five years of production software experience and strong front-end skills in TypeScript or JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS. They should be experienced with workflow-rich applications, AI-assisted coding, production operations, testing, and data-rich user experiences; geospatial or weather experience is desirable.

Key Skills:
