About The Company

US Mobile is at the forefront of revolutionizing wireless communication by creating a unified network accessible to everyone and every device worldwide. Our mission is to eliminate barriers and provide seamless connectivity without walls, empowering customers with flexible and customizable plans. We offer access to all three major networks on a single device and plan, along with home internet services from Starlink. Our approach emphasizes transparency, flexibility, and customer-centric support, with no lock-ins or commitments. Recognized for excellence, US Mobile has been named the top-rated mobile carrier by Consumer Reports for two consecutive years. We are committed to building scalable, innovative systems that support our growing user base and foster a collaborative, agile work environment built on trust and mutual respect.

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Staff Front-End Engineer to join our expanding engineering team as we grow from 14 to 24 developers. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to architect and develop fast, accessible, and visually compelling web and mobile applications used by nearly one million subscribers across major networks such as Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. The ideal candidate will tackle both technical and strategic challenges by creating user interfaces that are adaptable, resilient, and user-friendly. You will lead the development of modern front-end features, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor team members to foster a culture of innovation and excellence. Your work will directly influence how customers interact with our products and services, shaping the future of wireless connectivity.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in front-end engineering, with a proven track record of building production-grade user interfaces.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and CSS-in-JS or similar styling methodologies.
  • Experience with state management and data fetching libraries such as Tanstack Query, Redux, or Zustand.
  • A keen eye for UX/UI design, accessibility (a11y), and responsive, cross-platform development.
  • Comfort working with complex legacy codebases, supporting varied device types, and ensuring cross-platform consistency.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to define and execute high-leverage solutions independently.
  • Bonus points for experience with Rust, React Native, mobile app development, or telecom-related applications.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a state-driven UI that adapts seamlessly to different network-specific quirks and requirements.
  • Support and enhance both legacy and new plans concurrently, ensuring smooth transitions and consistent user experiences.
  • Create highly accessible (a11y-first) interfaces that are responsive and functional across multiple platforms.
  • Lead development on mission-critical projects, including next-generation AI chatbots, customer dashboards, and e-commerce experiences tailored for the telecom sector.
  • Build and maintain modern front-end features using React, TypeScript, and CSS, ensuring code quality and scalability.
  • Design and develop UI components compatible with both web and React Native applications, supporting cross-platform consistency.
  • Architect scalable systems capable of supporting millions of user interactions across various networks and devices.
  • Prioritize accessibility and performance as core aspects of all front-end development activities.
  • Collaborate closely with backend, product, and design teams to craft elegant, data-driven solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Explore and incorporate emerging technologies such as Rust where performance or architectural demands require.
  • Mentor and lead a high-autonomy engineering culture focused on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary package ranging from $160,000 to $250,000 annually.
  • Reimbursements for gym memberships and commuting expenses to promote a healthy work-life balance.
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate personal and professional commitments.
  • Subsidized health benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.
  • Professional development stipend to support continuous learning and growth.
  • Generous and flexible time-off policies to encourage rest and rejuvenation.
