Job summary

Orthogonal in San Francisco is seeking a frontend engineer to build our web product. You’ll work on the dashboard, chat, endpoint discovery, and integration workflows using Next.js, React, and TypeScript. You’ll work directly with the founders, designers, and users.

This full-time, on-site role offers ownership of features from idea to production, with a strong emphasis on accessible, responsive interfaces and a chance to shape the product through user feedback.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional front-end engineering experience.
• Strong experience building production React applications.
• Experience consuming APIs and handling asynchronous application state.
• Able to own features from an initial idea through production.
• Comfortable working closely with a small team and changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with developer tools, API products, or data-heavy interfaces
• Experience building chat or streaming interfaces
• Experience with design systems and visual regression testing
• Full-stack experience with Node.js and Postgres
