ClickHouse is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design and ship AI-powered features across the full stack, from backend inference services to frontend interfaces within the ClickHouse Cloud platform.

You will connect ClickHouse capabilities with AI services via robust APIs, integrate with AI/ML ecosystems, and bring models into production with monitoring and observability, while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Exposure to working directly with AI/ML technologies.
• Ability to drive features from concept to production with minimal supervision.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong frontend skills with TypeScript/JavaScript and React.
• Experience integrating and deploying AI/ML models in production, including inference APIs and vector databases (nice to have).
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP services related to AI/ML deployment.
• Understanding of database systems and data processing pipelines.
• ClickHouse experience (preferred).
• Experience building data-oriented interfaces and visualizations.

The AI/ML Engineering team builds and operates ClickHouse's AI and machine learning products, including the Agentic Data Stack, AI Functions, chDB, an in-Console copilot, and AI/ML partnerships. It also develops shared components and expertise that help other ClickHouse teams ship AI features.
