Description: Responsible for designing and building highly interactive GenBI, AI, and analytics applications, dashboards, chat interfaces, and AI-assisted user experiences using React, Chainlit, and Streamlit technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- React Development: Build enterprise-grade React applications
- Dashboard Development: Create analytics dashboards and reporting interfaces
- Chainlit Development: Build conversational AI interfaces
- Streamlit Development: Develop rapid AI analytics applications
- AI Chat Interfaces: Build streaming-response chat experiences
- Explainable AI UI: Display confidence scores, citations, sources, and AI explanations
- Data Visualization: Create interactive charts and reporting components
- Performance Optimization: Reduce latency and improve application responsiveness
- Stakeholder Feedback: Incorporate business user feedback into UI enhancements
Required Skills:
- Holding technical certifications in the areas of: AWS certifications Snowflake certifications BI certifications (Power BI, Tableau) AI/ML or GenAI-related coursework or credentials
- At least (5) years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or BI analytics
- At least (3) years of experience working with AI/ML or GenAI technologies to design and build AI/GenAI solutions using cloud services such as AWS, Snowflake, or Azure.
- Practical hands-on experience using OpenAI APIs or similar LLM platforms, building natural language to programming languages such as SQL/query, designing prompt strategies for business insights, and prompt engineering to guide system behavior.
- Experience in developing semantic models supporting natural language querying and AI-driven analytics (i.e., GenBI); statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and optimization.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields from an accredited or government sanctioned college/university. CalSTRS may request a copy of the diploma/degree.
