Job summary

The Cake is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to elevate its ecommerce and digital customer experiences. This role combines hands-on development, modern UI practices, and technical leadership to build scalable, high-performing web and mobile interfaces.

You will design and ship user-facing features, collaborate with Product, UX/UI, Marketing, and Engineering, and mentor teams while driving code quality, testing, and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of front-end software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and React/Next.js.
• Experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind, and PrimeNG/PrimeReact.
• Strong REST API integration experience; familiarity with Node.js, Swagger, Postman, or OpenAPI.
• Proven experience developing and supporting ecommerce applications
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Ability to independently drive development from requirements through deployment
