Walmart is seeking a supervisory leader responsible for managing service teams and enhancing customer experiences in Arkansas. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to ensuring high standards of customer service and operational excellence. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and leads process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating profit and loss statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, recognizes associates, and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities and builds relationships with key stakeholders. Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, communicates goals, builds accountability, and measures progress. Addresses improvement opportunities and promotes continuous learning. Ensures compliance with company policies and supports the company's mission, values, ethics, and integrity by implementing related action plans and supporting the Open Door Policy. Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and fosters a workplace of belonging where associates feel supported and supported to thrive.

Offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including health, financial, paid time off, and other perks. The annual salary range is $65,000 - $80,000 plus potential additional compensation based on location and performance.
2 years’ college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For ammunition-only facilities with specific state requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments, including Academy and Open Door trainings.
Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. A Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership, is preferred. Experience supervising general work with responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing is also preferred.
