Job summary

Optiplay is seeking a strong Middle Frontend Developer to own frontend across multiple slot games and contribute to the overall product portfolio. You’ll ship games end-to-end, shape architecture, and establish reusable components with a focus on performance across desktop, mobile, and WebGL.

You will collaborate with Producers, Artists, and Backend Engineers, review code, and help implement new features, UI components, and asset pipelines while maintaining high quality and fast iterations in a

Qualifications

• 3+ years of frontend development experience, including at least 1 year building HTML5 slot games.
• Strong expertise with Pixi.js and modern JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of OOP, asynchronous programming, and rendering performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Spine animations and asset management pipelines.
• Experience with Codex and WordCode is required.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship slot games end-to-end — from initial prototype to production release.
• Shape frontend architecture and development standards across all projects, making technical decisions and reviewing code.
• Collaborate with Producers, Artists, and Backend Engineers for seamless integration and performance.
• Contribute to code quality through reviews and shared standards for scalable, maintainable codebases.
• Design and implement new features, UI components, and in-game effects.
• Improve core framework, build tools, and asset pipelines.
• Profile performance and debug across desktop, mobile, and WebGL.
