Job summary

Solomon Page is seeking a Full Stack Developer with a frontend slant to join a growing Front Office Engineering team at a hedge fund client. You will help modernize trading, portfolio management, and analytics apps, with exposure to traders and portfolio managers.

Design and build React-based interfaces, implement REST APIs with .NET/C#, work with SQL Server and cloud deployments, and contribute to CI/CD and performance improvements in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of software development experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on React development.
• Experience in front office financial applications (trading, OMS, investment management).
• Strong UX/UI design and development experience, including data-rich, workflow-driven apps.
• Experience building modern web apps using React, TypeScript, REST APIs, SQL.
• Strong communication with business stakeholders.
• Career stability with clear explanations for job changes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern React-based web applications for front office users.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex workflows into intuitive experiences.
• Build highly responsive, scalable, and performant applications with usability and speed.
• Develop reusable UI components and frontend frameworks for long-term growth.
• Participate in architecture, technical design, and modernization initiatives.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Build and maintain server-side components using .NET (C#) and related technologies.
• Work with SQL Server and caching technologies to support high-performance applications.
• Contribute to cloud-based deployments and CI/CD initiatives.
• Participate in testing, monitoring, and production support activities.
• Collaborate directly with portfolio managers, traders, analysts, and technology leadership.
