Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to coordinate information and support for patient flow at our clinics. As a patient-facing caregiver, you’ll assist with check-in, registration, billing/financial aide and insurance, working with clinical teams to support scheduling and clinic operations.

The Journey Level PSS performs front-office functions with increasing independence, handling patient registration and routine appointment scheduling for basic healthcare services.

Qualifications

• 1 year of medical office or related healthcare experience.
• 6 months of experience as a Providence employee in an Associate PSS position.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule routine appointments.
• Perform front-office clerical duties and process basic patient information.
• Assist with billing/financial aide and insurance coordination as part of the care team.
