The Front Office Patient Care Coordinator will perform front office functions to contribute to efficient day-to-day operations and a positive patient experience. Provides administrative support to the providers and interacts with patients by scheduling patient appointments in tandem with the provider availability, interacts with patients in person and on the phone, answers phone, greets patient at check-in, collects patient information, updates/maintains electronic records, insurance verification, handles visit payments, ensures the clinic has needed inventory for operation, and performs clerical tasks. The full salary range for the Administrative Assistant II is between $26.65 - $37.77 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. This position will be primarily assigned to a work location; but may also float as needed to various UCR Health clinic locations. This position may require you to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
