Job summary

Arizona Kidney Disease and Hypertension Center (AKDHC) is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator/Medical Assistant for the Show Low office. Responsibilities include front desk duties, patient education, and EMR data entry to support renal care teams.

You will schedule procedures, monitor BP, assist clinicians, and help with records, HIPAA compliance, and office operations to ensure efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant diploma or certification from an accredited institution
• Excellent customer service and communication with patients and staff
• 1–2 years front/back office experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk check-in and check-out and manage patient education
• Schedule procedures and 24-hour BP monitoring
• Update medication lists and enter data into EMR
• Notify physician of clinical status changes and abnormal results
• Maintain office supplies and inventory, answer phones
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and assist in chart/paperwork processes
