Front Office Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time, Experienced

Department: Litigation Support

CGS is seeking a Front Office Manager to join our team supporting the legal mission of a large federal agency. This role involves demonstrating expertise in office management by providing managerial support and interacting effectively with clients and attorneys.

Skills and Attributes for Success:
  1. This is a high-visibility position requiring onsite presence 5 days a week.
  2. The candidate must interact closely with high-level staff to complete assignments with minimal oversight.
  3. Professional demeanor, confidence, and strong work ethic are essential.
  4. Only highly experienced candidates with proven, long-term relevant experience will be considered; this is not an entry-level position.
  5. Coordinate senior management calls and meetings via Zoom, MS Teams, etc.
  6. Setup and initiate hybrid meetings.
  7. Coordinate with IT to resolve technical issues.
  8. Make and reconcile travel arrangements using the E2 application (training provided).
  9. Manage travel adjustments and expenses for senior management.
  10. Answer and direct incoming calls appropriately.
  11. Coordinate site events with dignitaries and scheduling with internal/external parties.
  12. Handle correspondence and organize workloads, processes, and physical spaces.
  13. Schedule appointments and communicate on behalf of senior management as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. At least four years of progressively responsible supervisory and management experience, including strong communication skills.
  2. Experience interacting with the public via phone or front desk.
  3. Experience ordering and maintaining documents.
  4. Exceptional phone etiquette and experience operating multiline phone systems.
  5. Proficiency in reviewing text for typographical, grammatical, and spelling accuracy.
  6. Experience managing day-to-day office operations and organization.
  7. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  8. Experience supervising support staff.
  9. Ability to learn new applications quickly and take initiative.
  10. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  11. Undergraduate degree required; law degree or advanced certification preferred.
