Qualifications

• Degree in economics, engineering, data science or related quantitative discipline.
• Experience in crude oil market analytics.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Excel and Power BI for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide fair valuation and independent risk assessment for complex crude and products deals, quantifying physical and financial optionality.
• Support traders and originators with structure design, payoff logic, pricing, sensitivities and clear commercial explanations.
• Build valuation templates and analytics tools with strong optionality modelling capabilities (stochastic methods, scenario analysis).
• Contribute valuation and optionality insight to large global corporate projects beyond day-to-day trading (e.g., multi-year supply agreements or multi-asset structures).
• Advise on hedging strategies for exotic and optionality-rich structures, mapping risks into hedgeable exposures and identifying residual risks.
