Together Women's Health in Tennessee seeks a Front Office Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming, organized front desk and accurate data entry. You will greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and support a smooth patient flow in a busy OB/GYN practice.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of medical front office experience, proficiency with EMR (Athena preferred) and MS Office, and a patient-focused, detail-oriented

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, maintaining a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
• Answer and route phone calls, respond to inquiries with empathy and accuracy.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider schedules, coordinate follow-ups.
• Verify insurance, collect copays and balances, enter patient information into the EMR.
• Monitor front desk supplies and waiting room cleanliness; ensure check-in/check-out accuracy.
• Collaborate with medical staff to support efficient patient flow.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in training new front desk staff and cover for teammates during absences.
• Handle patient concerns or escalate as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

The Perinatal Group, a practice partner of Together Women's Health, isseeking a highly organized, professional, and friendly Front Office Coordinator to join our growing women's health practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a critical role in creating a positive patient experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, always ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere
• Answer and route phone calls efficiently and respond to patient inquiries with empathy and accuracy
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider schedules, and coordinate follow-up visits
• Verify insurance, collect copays and balance, and accurately enter patient information into the EMR
• Monitor and maintain front desk supplies, patient paperwork, and waiting room cleanliness
• Ensure all check-in and check-out processes are completed correctly and timely
• Collaborate with medical assistants, billing, and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company policies
• Assist in training new front desk team members and serve as a point of contact for front desk support
• Will cover team members during vacations or call ins.
• Help resolve patient concerns or escalates issues to the appropriate person when needed
• Other job duties may be assigned
