Job summary

Luxoft seeks a Calypso QA Analyst to support and build Calypso projects across front-to-back office workflows. You will translate business requirements into structured test cases, develop test scripts for the full trade lifecycle, and validate payment processing and SWIFT message scenarios.

You'll collaborate with business analysts and developers in a fast-paced environment, ensure traceability of requirements to test cases, contribute to defect triage, and participate in UAT to guarantee

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years proven experience with the Calypso platform (cloud environment preferred).
• 4+ years hands-on Calypso experience — working knowledge of trade booking, payment processing, and system workflows in UAT; front office experience.
• Capital Markets, Front Office, Accounting knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to write detailed, structured test cases from business requirements and functional specifications.
• Understanding of capital markets trade lifecycles: FX, Fixed Income, Money Market, Repos, Derivatives.
• Familiarity with netting concepts, payment processing, and SWIFT messaging (MT standards).
• Experience executing test cases in a structured test environment and logging defects.
• Ability to identify gaps in test coverage and raise them proactively; ability to understand technical issues and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Test Case Development: translate requirements into structured test cases for Calypso Front Office.
• Test Execution: run functional tests in Calypso UAT and test environments and log defects.
• Defect Reporting: triage defects with analysts and tech teams; track to closure.
• UAT Support: participate in UAT with business users and provide test guidance.
• Traceability: ensure every requirement has at least one corresponding test case and clear acceptance criteria.
• SWIFT & Payments: create test cases for SWIFT MT messages and payment scenarios.
• Workflow Coverage: develop tests for booking, amendments, cancellations, roll-over, and corporate actions.
