Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Front Office Assistant to support ambulatory/physician office operations, including patient registration, telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, and patient referrals.

The role reports to Practice Operations leadership and requires a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and customer service in a busy clinical setting on site in Brandon, Florida.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Six months experience in a clerical office, or general business, and/or customer service setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments according to practice protocols and patient preferences.
• Obtains accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
• Processes requests for medical records per policies.
• Maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates competency with office equipment and answers phones appropriately.
• Contributes to patient satisfaction and professional interactions.
