Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, AZ seeks a welcoming Front Office Agent to greet guests, check them in/out, and ensure a memorable stay. You will handle room assignments, process payments, and promote resort services with professionalism.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in hotel guest service, familiarity with Opera PMS, and the stamina to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. Join a team dedicated to warmth and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with Property Management System, Opera preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; able to work weekends/evenings/holidays as required.

What You'll Do

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
• Assign rooms that meet guest preferences and special requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information in accordance with hotel policies.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing guest and team member safety.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include

• Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with previous Property Management System, preferred Opera System.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time required.
• Ability to work weekends, evening, holidays as necessary/required.
