Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Greater Chattanooga Area seeks a Front Office Administrator to greet visitors, answer calls, manage schedules, and support campus operations at the Opportunity Campus in Chattanooga, TN.

You will provide reception and administrative support to HR, Finance, and Programs, handle records, coordinate room reservations, and assist onboarding while upholding confidentiality and the organization’s values.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; post-secondary coursework or certification in office administration is a plus.
  • Minimum one year of experience in office administration, reception, or customer service; nonprofit or campus environment experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office technology.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist all people entering the campus, provide a positive first impression, answer calls, and provide information about services and programs.
  • Provide general administrative support to executive staff and organizational departments (HR, Finance, Programs, etc.).
  • Administer vehicle checkout and return processes, oversee room reservations, and coordinate catering or technology needs for events.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and volunteers, promoting campus events and initiatives, and serving as a resource for staff and visitors.
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives, uphold confidentiality, and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment.
