Overview

The Texas Renaissance Festival is open for 8 weekends, beginning October 7 and ending November 26 (including Thanksgiving Friday). It is located about 45 minutes north of Houston in a fantasy environment with wandering minstrels and interactive guest encounters. This is a temporary, part‑time opportunity for a quick 8‑weekend commitment.

Positions

Front of House positions are available in several locations. Hybrid Front of House/Back of House positions are also available; these are costumed roles that cover food production within view of Park Guests but involve less customer interaction. Basic costumes and paid dialect training are provided for Hybrid positions. Paid dialect training is provided for Front of House roles.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Park Guests in a fast‑paced environment
• Perform fast math for sales operations (there will be a math test)
• Stand for long periods and deliver high‑quality customer service
• Support food production and operations as applicable to the role

Qualifications

• Outgoing, physically fit, and comfortable engaging with guests
• Enthusiastic about make-believe environments and festival settings
• Ability to learn and apply dialect training where required

Compensation & Schedule

Starting pay is $12 per hour, plus an even split of pooled tips. Higher starting pay may be possible with higher responsibility positions and experience. Your first paycheck includes pre‑show training day(s), dress rehearsal day, and the first weekend’s pay. Direct deposit is available and encouraged.
