Job summary

The Moore in Miami Design District seeks a dynamic Front of House Leader to inspire and oversee daily operations, elevating the guest experience in a high‑end, fast‑paced setting.

You will mentor front‑of‑house staff, coordinate with culinary teams, manage service flow, and ensure flawless dining experiences for members and guests alike while upholding luxury hospitality standards.

Flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays is required as we host events and adapt to seasonal demand.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume upscale hospitality setting; 2+ years in a management/supervisory role.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading a team to achieve excellence.
• In-depth knowledge of fine dining service, wine pairings, and luxury hospitality practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to multitask under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver extraordinary guest experiences, ensuring the highest level of service, attention to detail, and hospitality.
• Respond promptly and effectively to guest concerns, working to exceed expectations and create memorable moments.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, runners, bussers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team’s expertise in menu knowledge, service standards, liquor offerings, and wine pairings.
• Ensure smooth and efficient service flow, orchestrating the synchronization between the kitchen and the front-of-house team to deliver flawlessly timed dining experiences.
• Monitor and maintain quality control in all aspects of restaurant operations, from table settings to ambiance.
• Assist with developing and managing weekly staff schedules, considering seasonal demand and events.
• Supervise daily operations, providing guidance and support to staff during service to maintain high standards.
• Foster strong communication with the culinary team for seamless front- and back-of-house integration.
• Provide feedback to the kitchen on guest preferences, menu suggestions, and improvements.
• Cultivate relationships with regular guests and members, documenting preferences for personalized service.
• Proactively address guest needs and exceed expectations.
