Job summary

Fire Bowl Café in Austin is hiring Front of House Team Members for multiple locations (Round Rock, Arbor, Lakeline, Brodie). You will be cross-trained in Food Runner, Cashier, and Expo to support fast, friendly service.

This part-time role offers a $9–$11/hour wage plus tips (average tips around $4/hour), flexible schedules, free meal and uniform, medical benefits, PTO, and opportunities to learn across FOH duties.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age; restaurant, customer service, retail, or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with guests and coworkers.
• Team-oriented and dependable, willing to assist teammates.
• Ability to learn menu, follow instructions, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency.
• Willingness to be cross-trained in all Front of House positions.
• Flexible availability including day or night shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service by warmly greeting and assisting customers and answering menu questions.
• Work across Front of House positions including Food Runner, Cashier, and Expo with timely service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by following procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Support smooth restaurant operations by adapting to busy periods and helping teammates.
• Collaborate with guests and coworkers to maintain a positive dining experience.
• Maintain a professional, positive approach while performing duties.
