Job summary

Fire Bowl Café is hiring Back of House Team Members in Austin, TX. Join a fast-paced kitchen with roles across line, prep, and wok, offering health benefits, PTO, and weekly pay. Prior kitchen experience is a plus, but not required; candidates must be 18+ and dependable.

We provide opportunities to learn multiple kitchen positions, flexible shifts, and a team-focused environment. Locations include Arbor and Lakeline in the Austin area, with standard hours roughly 10:00 AM–9:30 PM.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Kitchen experience is a plus, but not required; willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for long shifts.
• Flexible availability for day or night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and food items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Work assigned kitchen stations (line, prep, wok) with proper temps, portions, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen; store and sanitize properly.
• Keep stations stocked and communicate shortages or needs.
• Support smooth kitchen operations during busy periods and coordinate with FOH and other teams.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards (FIFO, etc.).
