Job summary

District Taco in New York is hiring a friendly Guest Experience Team Member to greet guests, assist those waiting, and help with the menu during busy periods. You’ll answer phones and take occasional orders while maintaining a positive attitude and strong guest service.

Responsibilities include keeping the lobby, restrooms, and patios clean, supporting teammates, and handling food pickup and expo duties. Ability to stand for long shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English.
• High level of motivation and sense of self-responsibility.
• Ability to apply and maintain standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
• Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills on an ongoing basis.
• Be physically active for long periods without getting tired or out of breath.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests of District Taco and seeking out those who are waiting or need assistance.
• Assisting guests with the menu and altering them to potential dietary conflicts.
• Resolving customer service issues with the aid of your manager.
• Answering restaurant phones and taking the occasional phone order.
• Providing support to your fellow Team Members whenever needed.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and care of our lobby, restrooms, and patios.
• Organizing of storage areas and unpacking shipments to maintain proper rotation.
• The washing of equipment and small-wares items.
• Bringing food to customers/expo stuff.
