Job summary

Waste Pro is hiring Front Load Drivers in Florida. The role requires a Class A or B CDL, clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate refuse collection trucks on pre-assigned routes. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, loading dumpsters, documentation, and professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines and practices; understanding of Department of Transportation and State requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles.
• Must be able to speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, dispatch and supervisors, understand highway and traffic signals, and be able to make legible entries on paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Servicing commercial business picking up Front Load Containers and empties containers using levers inside truck cab.
• Completes route/productivity sheets, records mileage and fuel consumption, log book (as required).
• Communicates professionally with customers and reports any issues to internal contacts while providing courteous service.
• Safely operates the truck including pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensuring safety of employees.
• Cleans truck and maintains exterior; inspects under the hood and checks fluids and tires.
