Job summary

HL Mando America Corporation is seeking a Front-Line Supervisor to lead the assigned shift with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will supervise and coach the team, ensure adherence to policies, and drive continuous improvement in production and maintenance planning.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong problem solving, and collaboration with HSE and Production Control. Experience in molding or foundry operations is essential, with a track record of meeting delivery targets.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in management or equivalent; degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5 years as a front-line supervisor in a vertical molding or ductile iron foundry.
• Minimum 5 years operating sand system equipment and sand testing.
• Minimum 5 years operating vertical molding machines.
• Minimum 3 years operating cold-box core-making process.
• Minimum 3 years operating relative iron pouring systems.
• PLC programming knowledge is a plus (Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics and work instructions.
• Strong problem-solving using Pareto charts or fishbone diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Direct enforcement of safety practices and maintain safe working environment.
• Promote quality policy and ensure proper records/documents are completed.
• Achieve 100% on-time delivery through planning and coordination.
• Investigate delivery failures to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Develop long-range planning for team resources and costs.
• Coordinate with Production Control for proper production planning.
