Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention team member for TJ Maxx in Augusta, GA. This role focuses on acting as a visual deterrent to prevent loss, wearing a Body Worn Camera, and supporting store teams to ensure a safe shopping environment.

You will greet customers, maintain a front-of-store presence, and report incidents per policy. 0-2 years in retail or security is acceptable. The position offers entry-level pay with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication.
Sound decision making skills.
Ability to take initiative and perform well independently; priorities and manage time.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
0-2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
Wear a complete Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
Greet customers with courtesy and respect and refer requests to store management or customer service.
Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a manager.
Document incidents in the case management system.
Perform other duties as assigned.
