Job summary

BlueGreen Alliance Inc. is seeking a Door Greeter responsible for directing customers and greeting them as they enter the store. You will ensure bags are checked and guide shoppers to the correct departments as needed.

The role requires standing for 8 hours, ability to lift 25 lbs, and availability for nights, weekends, and rotating shifts. Excellent verbal and written communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of retail or loss prevention experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and rotating shifts.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct customers to proper areas and greet customers professionally.
• Check bags and ensure no opened food or drinks enter the store.
• Be trained in store layout to direct customers appropriately.
• Assist customers by directing them to departments and refer to MOD for policies.
• Monitor front-end operations for suspicious behavior and alert management.
• Maintain professional conduct and avoid fraternization at the register area.
• Remain at the front of the store until relieved or directed otherwise.
