Job Purpose and Role

We are seeking a talented Front End Developer with expertise in WordPress and Elementor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for updating and customizing our website by collaborating with marketing and ensuring that the site is optimized for both user experience and performance. You will work closely with other team members within a scrum framework, contributing to the overall development process and bridging the gap between design and technical implementation.

You’ll work on a mix of internal marketing sites, client projects, and ongoing site updates.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate engaging content into the website using WordPress and Elementor for both internal marketing and client websites.
  • Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure websites meet business goals and brand standards.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team, including back-end developers and web designers, to deliver cohesive and functional applications.
  • Ensure that the website design aligns with user experience requirements and is consistent with UX guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical recommendations for new projects
  • Document processes, coding practices, and custom development work to ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, continuously improving and updating skills to bring innovative solutions to the team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Front End Developer.
  • Proficient in WordPress development and customization.
  • Proficient with Elementor.
  • Strong skills in front-end development, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels.
  • Knowledge of current SEO techniques and how to implement them within WordPress.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Lighthouse for performance analysis and optimization.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager configuration is a plus.


This is an Independent Contractor position.
Job Type: Full-time - Remote

Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
