Job summary

FGS, LLC seeks an experienced Application Developer to design, develop, and sustain web applications in a classified DoD environment. You will build responsive UI components using JavaScript, Angular, and Node.js, with Python/Perl scripting as needed, ensuring alignment with usability standards and branding.

The role requires strong front-end expertise, experience with RESTful services and JSON, and the ability to translate complex architectures for developers and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in related IT field.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in designing and developing web-based applications.
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance at hire time.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain responsive web pages and UI components for Navy intelligence workflows.
• Develop front-end solutions using JavaScript and modern web frameworks such as Angular and Node.js; apply Python/Perl scripting where appropriate.
• Align interfaces with usability standards and enterprise branding guidance; integrate with JSON-based data exchanges and RESTful services.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across web-production environments; produce technical specs and user guides.
