Applied Research Solutions in the Denver metro area is seeking Mid–Senior Front-End developers to design, build, and maintain modern, user-facing web interfaces for a National Geospatial Intelligence Agency program. The role requires expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks, plus a TS clearance and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced team.

Translate designs into accessible, responsive experiences and contribute to full-stack workflows.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Current TOP SECRET security clearance and available for polygraph testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience/5 years).
• Advanced/expert knowledge of HTML5, RESTful and/or Java.
• Deep familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (Section 508) and best practices.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop responsive, accessible, and performant front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, LESS, and SASS.
• Implement UIs using frameworks and libraries (e.g., Bourbon, Bootstrap).
• Build and maintain JavaScript functionality with modern libraries and MV* frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Backbone.js, Ember.js, D3).
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs for dynamic front-end experiences.
• Participate in agile team environments (Scrum, Lean) delivering iterative updates.
• Utilize Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Ensure front-end code adheres to Section 508 accessibility standards.
• Rapidly research, evaluate, and adopt new development tools and frameworks.
• Engage with open-source ecosystems and community solutions.
• Translate static design assets into functional web layouts and responsive views.
• Create templates and views within full-stack frameworks such as Rails, Express, or Django.
• Develop front-end applications using Angular or React, or contribute to service development using Java (REST).
• Other duties as assigned.
