Job summary

A global staff augmentation firm is seeking a skilled developer with extensive experience in web application development to create high-quality responsive web components. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and UX designers, gather requirements, and refine architectural designs. Ideal candidates should have strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills along with experience in cloud services and modern web frameworks. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with web application development in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 1+ year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3+ years of experience working with Web Services Frameworks like Firebase, GCP, and/or AWS.
• Familiarity with modern web development frameworks such as Angular, React, Lit, Vue and/or Svelte.
• Familiarity with Design Systems, such as Material UI, especially Material 3 design system.
• 1+ years of experience with Lit web development framework would be a plus.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma would be a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the core team of Engineers and UXers to build high quality responsive web components.
• Gather requirements, write detailed documents, and elevate issues in a timely manner.
• Align closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide reasonable timelines, and updates as the project progresses.
• Refine architectural design to ensure high performance and cross-browser capabilities.
• Write clean & understandable code to ensure incorporation of all UX, engineering and functional requirements.
• Build a thorough understanding of an internal platform including workflows, best practices, documentation and build patterns.

• Client uses an internal low-code rapid prototyping platform that provides tools for running end-to-end UX Research at scale. It complements Figma, providing designers with the additional tools needed to bring their design explorations to life in interactive prototypes and gather valuable user feedback.

Responsibilities:
