Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help deliver a smooth checkout experience for customers. You’ll assist at the register, scan items, bag groceries, and answer questions to ensure every visit ends on a positive note.

You’ll also keep the front end organized and running, rotate between transactions, cart retrieval, restocking, and keeping the checkout area clean in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age or older, depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at checkout to ensure smooth purchases
• Scan items, handle transactions, and process payments
• Keep front-end area clean, organized, and stocked
• Assist with bagging, cart retrieval, and general front-end duties
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow throughout the shift
