Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. seeks a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You’ll help finalize purchases, answer questions, and keep the front end organized and welcoming throughout the shift.

Tasks include processing transactions, bagging groceries, restocking supplies, collecting carts, and maintaining checkout area while adapting to changing customer flow. Previous customer service is a plus, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on state)
• Completion of cashier/front-end training on hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately at checkout
• Bag groceries and assist customers
• Restock supplies and keep front-end organized
• Maintain checkout area cleanliness throughout shift
• Assist with cart retrieval and general front-end upkeep
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
