Job summary

dd's Discounts is seeking a Department Area Supervisor to support the Store Manager in daily store operations and adherence to company standards. You will supervise designated areas, learn all facets of store operations, and contribute to achieving sales and profitability targets.

The role requires 2+ years of retail leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to train and motivate Associates across shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of management experience in a retail environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage motivate, and communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach, and develop Associates.
• Must have highly developed organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Must exercise considerable independent judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.
• Must be able to move around all areas of the store.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Department Area Supervisor assists the Store Manager in managing and controlling the operations of the store to ensure that company standards and expectations are consistently met; supervises areas assigned by the Store Manager and follows the dd's DISCOUNTS philosophy and policies research to customers, Associates, and merchandising. Responsible for learning all phases of store operations.

Job Type:

Full-time.

Salary:

Up to $18.00 per hour.
