Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Front End Specialist I to assist customers, operate the register, and keep the front end neat and inviting. The role centers on customer service, merchandising, and smooth store operations in a busy retail environment.

You will greet customers, promote current offers, help train new associates, and maintain knowledge of promotions. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability, along with a positive attitude and teamwork, are essential to succeed here in

Qualifications

• Retail experience of at least 6 months preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Open scheduling availability.
• Effective communication skills.
• Sound judgment.
• Confidentiality of information.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of industry terms and processes.
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer at entry and at the front end.
• Operate the register accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with training new Front End Specialists.
• Be knowledgeable of promotions and assist with selling.
• Maintain a neat and organized front end area.
• Assist with receiving, pricing, merchandising, and store recovery.
• Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
