Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate to provide fast, friendly service at Store 02595 Front End in Newton Grove, NC. The role emphasizes accurate checkout, greeting customers by name, and maintaining a clean, organized front-end area while following company procedures.

You will handle cash and payments, assist customers, and collaborate with store staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences every shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and communication abilities.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and operate cash handling and service desk procedures.
• Ability to perform cashier duties and service center responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service to customers.
• Greet each customer and use their name when possible.
• Unload groceries from cart to belt and group items for bagging.
• Scan orders and handle payments following standard practices.
• Follow cash handling, refunds, and override procedures correctly.
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take orders to their car.
• Maintain neat, clean front-end presentations and report issues to management.
