Job summary

Ollie’s Owensboro store is seeking a Front End Specialist to assist customers and help maintain the store’s appearance. The role centers on front-end operations and delivering friendly service to shoppers in a busy retail setting.

You will greet customers, operate the cash register accurately, stay informed on current promotions, support donation programs, assist with receiving and pricing, merchandise products, and preserve a neat, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• A positive attitude and team player who wants to engage and serve customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
