Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet seeks a Front End Specialist to assist customers and maintain the store’s front-end appearance. You will handle customer service, merchandising, and cashier duties, focusing on the front end of operations.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the register, and staying informed on promotions to drive sales. You’ll also support Ollie’s Army and donation programs and help with stocking and store recovery as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience delivering friendly customer service is a plus.
• Ability to operate a cash register and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Be knowledgeable about promotions to answer questions and drive sales.
• Support donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving trucks, pricing, merchandising, and store recovery.

Position Overview:

The Front End Specialist assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. They are responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front end of store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
• A positive attitude and team player who wants to engage and serve customers

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
