Job summary

Metron is seeking a talented Front‑End Software Engineer to design and implement front end web applications for simulation and optimization software. You will work on UI/UX with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS, collaborating with researchers and software engineers in Reston, VA.

The role emphasizes strong problem‑solving, data visualization, and responsive, secure interfaces. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to design decisions, ensuring quality across platforms

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
JavaScript or TypeScript experience.
React experience.
HTML and CSS experience.
Familiarity with web application design and front‑end development in any frameworks/languages.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2 years of relevant experience.
