Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Software Engineer, Front End Developer to join the Space Mission Systems team for the Rocky program in Albuquerque, NM or El Segundo, CA. The role involves designing, developing, and testing Human‑Machine Interfaces with UI/UX collaboration to meet project milestones.

We hire for Experienced and Senior levels. You will work with frontend technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and React, and participate in code reviews, architecture decisions, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3+ years’ experience with front end languages, frameworks, and libraries (HTML5, JavaScript, React).
• Foundational CS knowledge and object‑oriented design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and analyses of user interfaces for software systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into frontend solutions.
• Oversee software analyses to identify risks, issues and opportunities.
• Lead code reviews to ensure alignment with requirements and standards.
• Review product and process for alignment with project plans and industry standards.
• Research and oversee implementation of current frontend technologies and tools (e.g., React, Open Layers, etc.).
