Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age per company policy.
• Previous experience working with the public is preferred.
• Basic math and cash handling knowledge.
• Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, email, Word) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within ten feet and four seconds of contact, by name if possible during transactions.
• Monitors the flow of front end and keeps track of breaks.
• Provides extensive customer service, processes money orders and rentals, sells stamps and passes, and handles rain checks.
• Processes customer returns, audits tills, and handles change for the service center.
• Supervises courtesy clerks and general clerks.
• Handles large sums of money safely.
• Maintains register accuracy and price integrity.
• Keeps shelves fronted and work area clean and organized.
• Performs duties of courtesy and general clerk when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
