Job summary

Times Supermarkets is seeking a part-time Cashier in Aiea, HI. You will operate the register, assist customers, bag items, and balance the till during shifts in a fast-paced front-end environment.

Qualifications

• High school / Secondary school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age to ring register per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact, by name if possible, during transactions.
• Assist customers while ringing up/weighing items for purchase.
• Bags like groceries together, while using the least number of bags.
• Checks for bottom of the basket.
• Verify/balance register till at the beginning and end of shift.
• Accept/Verify/Process payment from customer in the form of cash, credit, debit, EBT, and check.
• Verify/Process WIC checks, purchase orders, merchandise certificates and coupons.
