Job summary

The GIANT Company in Lancaster, PA is seeking a store team member responsible for bagging items at checkout, restocking, collecting carts, and maintaining front-end cleanliness. You will support store operations while delivering a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

This role requires good customer service, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work shifts of at least four hours.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job
• Must meet the company performance standards including regular attendance
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely
• Must wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes for this job

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule and required equipment at the start of the shift
• Collect trash and operate the compactor
• Perform housekeeping and keep floors and work areas clean
• Collect and push carts back to the front-end
• Demonstrate good customer service skills
• Complete other duties as assigned by management
