Job summary

The GIANT Company is looking for a store team member in York, PA to bag items at checkout, stock and retrieve carts, and maintain cleanliness in the front-end areas. You will help collect trash, handle carts, and support daily store operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
• Must have and maintain valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule and required equipment at the start of shift.
• Collect trash, operate the compactor, and perform cleaning duties.
• Keep floors and work areas clean with hourly routines.
• Collect and return carts to the front-end area.
• Demonstrate good customer service skills.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
