Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions politely at checkout.
• Identify and fulfill customer orders promptly to ensure accuracy.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and register with proper bagging and checkout procedures.
• Follow up by contacting customers by phone for questions or concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to assist customers.
• Ensure accurate transactions and proper funds handling, including cash, checks, and electronic payments.
• Follow health and OSHA guidelines; keep work areas clean and sanitized.
• Cooperate with coworkers and supervisors; continuously seek performance improvements.
• Use PPE provided (gloves, footwear, etc.) as required.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
