Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Jacksonville, IL is looking for a Front End Specialist 1 to assist customers and help maintain the store’s appearance. This role focuses on delivering friendly service at the front end and supporting daily shopping experiences.

You will greet customers, operate the register, stay informed about promotions, and participate in merchandising and receiving tasks. The position requires teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude to ensure a smooth checkout and pleasant

Qualifications

• Greet and acknowledge every customer entering or exiting the store.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Be knowledgeable about current promotions to answer questions and drive sales.
• Support donation programs and store campaigns year-round.
• Assist with receiving trucks, pricing items, merchandising, and recovering the store.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
