Job summary

The GIANT Company in York, PA is hiring for a store team member to assist with front-end operations, stock, and customer service. You will scan and/or enter numbers at registers, handle cash, restock, and contribute to a clean, organized store environment.

You will work in a team-focused setting with emphasis on safety, attendance, and following company policies while delivering friendly service to customers and communities across the region.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Must be able to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes.
• Must have technical training.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift, check equipment and supplies, and comply with PPE requirements.
• Block aisles, set up checkout areas, and set up displays as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Tally items, take money, and make change.
• Bag items and put bags into carts as necessary.
