Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is hiring a Front End Pharmacy Technician to perform order entry and support the dispensing process in a closed-door pharmacy. You will work with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and excellent customer service within a team-focused environment.

The role requires a licensed pharmacy technician and at least one year of experience; prior long-term care exposure and PTCB certification are preferred. 40 hours weekly, full-time, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
• Entering orders and assisting in the medication dispensing process to ensure accuracy and customer service.
• Providing information on allergies, drug interactions and therapeutic duplications flagged by the system.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
