Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is hiring a Front End Pharmacy Technician in California to join a collaborative team at our closed-door pharmacy. This role supports the dispensing process, triages requests, and ensures accurate patient records.

You will work with pharmacists, perform order entry, and provide excellent customer service in a supportive environment that values safety and quality. Anticipated weekly hours: 40; pay range: $17.00–$31.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Certified/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and required response.
• Calculating and verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Reviewing narcotic Rx timelines and ensuring timely processing.
• Providing pharmacists with allergy, interaction, and drug-duplication information.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
